Terms for using Yogapedia India to discover, compare, enquire about and book independent yoga teachers

These Student Terms govern your use of Yogapedia India, including its website, profiles, enquiry and matching support, messaging, booking and payment features. By using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Who We Are

Yogapedia India is a yoga teacher discovery and marketplace platform operated by [legal entity name], having its principal place of business at [registered address] (“Yogapedia India”, “we”, “us” or “our”). We help students browse teachers by city, needs and yoga type, submit enquiries, and where available, make bookings or payments through the platform.

2. Platform Role

Yogapedia India is not a yoga school, clinic, employer, training institute or provider of yoga classes. Teachers listed on the platform are independent service providers. Any yoga instruction, assessment, advice, class, private session, workshop or related service is supplied by the relevant teacher, not by Yogapedia India.

3. Your Use of the Platform

You may use the platform for lawful personal purposes and must provide information that is accurate, current and complete. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, make a booking or submit an enquiry, unless a parent or legal guardian does so for a minor.

·       Do not create a false identity, impersonate another person or submit enquiries on another person’s behalf without authority.

·       Do not use the platform to harass, discriminate against, mislead or solicit teachers or other users for unrelated commercial purposes.

4. Enquiries and Manual Matching

Yogapedia India may use this information to identify potentially suitable teachers and may contact you or share the relevant enquiry details with those teachers. A match, introduction or recommendation is not a guarantee of availability, suitability, results, safety or service quality. You remain responsible for deciding whether to engage a teacher.

5. Profiles and Listed Information

Teacher profiles may include self-reported information, documents, credentials, experience, pricing, availability, offerings and student reviews. Yogapedia India may review selected information under its Verification Methodology, but does not independently validate every statement, nor does it guarantee that a profile is complete, current or suitable for your circumstances.

6. Bookings Payments and Cancellations

Where bookings or payments are made through the platform, the displayed price, any applicable taxes, payment terms, cancellation policy and refund process shown at the time of booking will apply. Yogapedia India may facilitate collection and transfer of payments and may charge teachers a commission or other agreed platform fee. Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, Yogapedia India does not become the provider of the booked service.

Teachers may set their own cancellation and rescheduling rules, subject to applicable law and any platform policy. If a teacher cancels, is unavailable or the service differs from what you expected, contact the teacher first and then [support email] with the booking reference. We may assist with platform-related issues but do not guarantee a refund, replacement session or resolution.

7. Health and Personal Responsibility

Yoga may involve physical movement, breathing practices and other activities that carry risk. 8. Conduct and Safety

Use reasonable judgment when communicating with or meeting a teacher. For in-person services, agree practical arrangements directly with the teacher and consider meeting in an appropriate setting. 9. Intellectual Property and Reviews

11. Changes Suspension and Termination

Material updates will be posted on the platform or otherwise communicated where appropriate. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
