Please read this Disclaimer before using Yogapedia India. It explains the limits of the platform’s role and the care users should take before engaging a teacher.

1. Marketplace Platform Only

Yogapedia India is a discovery, comparison, enquiry, matching and booking platform for independent yoga teachers. We are not a yoga class provider, medical provider, therapist, employer, agent or guarantor of any teacher. A teacher’s services are provided in that teacher’s independent capacity.

2. No Guarantee of Teacher Quality or Outcomes

We may verify selected information and documents in accordance with our Verification Methodology. Verification is limited to the checks described there and is not an endorsement, certification, warranty or assurance of a teacher’s competence, conduct, availability, safety, suitability, teaching quality or the results of any service. You are responsible for evaluating a teacher before engaging them.

3. Information on Profiles

Profile information may be supplied by teachers or other users and can change over time. While we aim to keep the platform useful and accurate, we do not warrant that every profile, price, availability statement, credential, review or other item is complete, current or error-free. Please confirm important details directly with the teacher before booking or participating.

Yoga and wellness information on the platform is for general information only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, physiotherapy, mental-health care or a substitute for consultation with a qualified health professional. Consult an appropriately qualified medical professional before beginning or changing any exercise, movement, breathing or wellness practice, particularly if you have an injury, illness, disability, pregnancy, recent surgery or any health concern.

When you submit an enquiry, Yogapedia India may use the details you provide to suggest or introduce one or more teachers. Any manual matching is based on the information available to us and is an administrative facilitation service only. It is not professional advice and does not guarantee that any teacher will be available or appropriate for your needs.

6. Payments Bookings and Third Parties

The platform may facilitate bookings or payments. This does not make Yogapedia India the provider of the underlying yoga service. Payment processors, teachers and other third parties may have their own terms and policies. Yogapedia India may receive a commission or platform fee in connection with bookings, as disclosed or agreed with the relevant teacher. Your obligations regarding a session remain between you and the teacher, subject to any applicable platform terms.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Yogapedia India disclaims responsibility for loss, injury, damage, delay or dissatisfaction arising from a teacher’s independent services, communications, omissions or conduct, or from reliance on platform information. Nothing in this Disclaimer limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
